I am interested in the examination of painting’s constantly shifting perceptual and pictorial conditions; its relationship with the space; its role within the production of contexts which are arranged by performance, installation and exhibition; the strategies of the performative; materiality (precise handling of the mark-making tool, paint, etc); dialectics of corporeality, its affect; and as a hybrid in the digital field and gestural abstraction.
