Dominic Mangila’s solo exhibition “Pastures of Plenty” features a series of works that combines history painting and meta-narrative of the Manong Generation (Filipino immigrant farm workers in the United States in the early 20th century). “Pastures of Plenty” is culled from the song of the same title by Woodie Guthrie which describes the travails and dignity of migrant workers in North America.
